Profile menu
The following table lists commands that are available on the Profile menu.

| Open profile | Closes the current profile, if one is open, and opens an existing profile.
If the current profile has been modified, you are prompted to save the profile before closing. You can change this behavior in the settings of WinContig. In the Open profile dialog you can choose if the contents of the profile should be added to or replace the existing items in the upper pane. |

| Save profile | Saves the current profile.
The Save profile command displays the Save profile as dialog if this is the first time the profile is being saved. |

| Save profile as | Saves the current profile in a different location, or with a new name, allowing you to create a new profile. | |

| Close profile | Closes the current profile without exiting the program. | ||
